Spiritual Counseling with Rabbi Tova
Do you feel like a work in progress...
but aren’t sure what spiritual work you should be doing,
or what progress you want to make?
Collaborative, Highly-Customized Spiritual Counseling for Individuals, Couples and Groups

Hi, I’m Rabbi Tova.
I am a rabbi for the people and by the people.
Spiritual counseling is a unique and sacred modality.

My mission is to create a ritual revolution where new and old pathways unite to connect us to ourselves, the divine, and the collective on a deeper level.
I use a layered approach when facilitating, including meditation to help the individual find stillness for healing.

My approach focuses on supporting you towards clarity around who you are, so that you can bring together the different parts of yourself in an authentic way.
My role is a facilitator of discoverer – I help you to uncover how you want to be Jewish.

I believe that you are a unique holy soul; a gift to the world. I see spiritual counseling as a way to engage on a soul-to-soul level, so that I can help you see how your true essence shines.

I'm an alum of these
fellowship programs:

Every Rabbi is different.
Here's my unique approach to spiritual counseling:
1 / We’ll collaborate.
I am not above you. Instead, I sit with you. I aim to make each session deeply meaningful for you.
2 / You’ll be empowered and sovereign.
While I am a Jewish leader, I'm not going to lead you blindly towards what I declare will be your Jewish identity. Instead, you'll be an active participant in your own way of approaching Judaism.
3 / Sessions are tailored to your needs.
Our sessions are highly customized to you. There's no outline or pre-determined path that I guide everyone through. Instead, your goals, curiosities, and needs shape our work together.
4 / Guided by Jewish tradition, wisdom and beyond.
My work is grounded in Jewish mystical wisdom and tradition, but I also strive to make Judaism and our world inclusive — even if it means sometimes facing harsh truths about our tradition.

Who I Work With:
I support clients to tune into Judaism as a living, breathing spiritual framework for how to exist in the world. Through rituals, the calendar, and ancestral practices, you can live with great intention and care.
I prioritize the spiritual care of those who I work with.
I specialize in working with those who are:
-
Facing personal wounds
-
Going through grief or working through a difficult time
-
Navigating thresholds and transitions of any kind
-
Grappling with doubt and anxiety, looking for hope

I also provide spiritual counseling for those who are:
-
Craving ritual to feel the sacred in the everyday
-
Seeking connection - with themselves and with the greater collective
-
Figuring out how to contribute to the world
-
Curious about the more mystical side of Judaism

When you live authentically, your being contributes to a thriving world.
As a trained rabbi, I tap into the ancient traditions of our ancestors along with modern interpretations of the text to provide spiritual guidance for my clients.
Whether you’re looking for spiritual counseling to support you through moments of grief or transition...
...or to rekindle your way of interacting with the Hebrew calendar through earth-based ritual and mystical practices...
I’ll help you with a 100% personalized approach.

People often want Judaism to function as a manual, a clear guide for how to be Jewish and how to be better.
But there is no single correct expression of belief or practice.
My role is to make space for active participation, for the individual moment, for the tension.
I invite you to push back. It is in that wrestling that the beauty of this spiritual framework emerges. That is where Judaism becomes alive.

I honor and value that we are all different. We all have different life experiences, different backgrounds, and different goals. It’s these differences that showcase the many ways of experiencing the Divine.
